6th graders will continue/complete their scratchboard Greek vase project, and turn in for grading.

Square 1 items have arrived and will be distributed this week to students.

Students will continue their two-point perspective projects, and turn in for grading.  8th graders will begin the printmaking project, after viewing a powerpoint presentation.

Students will continue working on their Hang Tag project, drawing an item of apparel they wish to advertise and then creating a hang tag to go with the item.

Students have completed their “Zoom in, zoom out” project, and have turned in for grading.

The new project will begin this week, and is based on Impressionism.  We will view a powerpoint presentation as a lead-in to the project.

Sketchbook:  Holiday related drawing of your choice.

Students will continue working on their Cubism acrylic paintings, which are on 16X20″ canvas.  8th grade sketchbooks are due on Thursday, and 7th grade on Friday.

Students have completed their continuous line paintings and turned them in for a project grade.  We will continue working on the Greek vase etchings.

Students will complete their two point perspective drawings and turn in for grading.

Students will complete their realistic hand drawings using black and white photos, and turn in for grading.

Students should have completed their yearbook pages and turned in for grading.  The hang tag project is underway currently.

Students will continue planning for the abstract painting.  If the canvas was purchased from the art department, it is available now to the students.  If bought individually, the canvas should be brought to school ASAP.
