Students will continue to work on printmaking, using images provided for them. Two-point perspective drawings should have been completed and turned in for grading.
Students will complete their two-point perspective drawings, and turn in for a grade. We will begin our printmaking project, using styrofoam plates and a printing press.
Square 1 items have arrived and will be distributed this week to students.

ONE DAY STUDENTS WILL CONTINUE THEIR STUDY OF TWO-POINT PERSPECTIVE DRAWING, WORKING ON THEIR CITY SCENES (EBONY PENCIL).
8th graders will continue the gesture drawing project started the previous week. They have learned to sketch by looking at live models while using the gesture method, and will move into choosing their favorite drawings to create the finished piece.
Square 1 artwork is now due. Anyone who was absent and has not taken the art to be completed as homework should come to the art room to do so this week.
The new project, dealing with continuous line contour drawing, will begin this week.
We will spend one more art class after this week on Square 1. The project will then be due for grading.
