One day 7th graders (Tuesday-Thursday) are beginning work n the Radial design project. Printmaking is due for grading.

7th graders should have completed their two-point perspective project and turned in for grading. The printmaking project is beginning, and will take the form of a landscape.
Students will continue to work on printmaking, using images provided for them. Two-point perspective drawings should have been completed and turned in for grading.
Students will complete their two-point perspective drawings, and turn in for a grade. We will begin our printmaking project, using styrofoam plates and a printing press.
Square 1 items have arrived and will be distributed this week to students.

ONE DAY STUDENTS WILL CONTINUE THEIR STUDY OF TWO-POINT PERSPECTIVE DRAWING, WORKING ON THEIR CITY SCENES (EBONY PENCIL).
7th graders will continue working on the hand project based on the work of M.C. Escher. They are learning to block in the human hand, using basic geometric shapes, and will learn various shading techniques as well.
7th graders have either already turned in their Square 1 artwork for a grade, or have taken the art as homework. It is due this week.
The new project to be introduced centers on contour drawing, and drawing the human hand.
