Advanced students will continue their Art Auction paintings. The 12X12 canvases are being provided by the school and will be auctioned off beginning March 31.
Students are working on their auction paintings. They should have either brought in a color image from which to work, or should have chosen one from the art room. They are working on 12X12 canvases, and painting in acrylic.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT STUDENTS HAVE ALL THEIR PAINTING SUPPLIES EACH DAY – THAT INCLUDES PAINTBRUSHES, PALETTES, AND PAINT SHIRT!
Advanced students will continue/complete their Cubist acrylic paintings. They should be considering the subject of the auction painting, which will be the next project to be undertaken.
Square 1 items have arrived and will be distributed this week.
Students will continue working on their Cubism acrylic paintings, which are on 16X20″ canvas. 8th grade sketchbooks are due on Thursday, and 7th grade on Friday.
Students will continue planning for the abstract painting. If the canvas was purchased from the art department, it is available now to the students. If bought individually, the canvas should be brought to school ASAP.
Complete still life project and turn in for a grade.
Square 1 magnets have been sent home. If you wish to order items, which will arrive in time for the Holidays, please send in orders by 11/14.
