6th graders are continuing to work on their Greek vases made from clay. This project will not be due until the next marking period; the only project grade for the third period will be the vase etching.

6th graders will continue to work on their clay projects. Two pinch pots will be joined to create a vase this week.
Students will complete and turn in Greek vase etchings if they haven’t already done so. We wil begin our clay project.
Students will complete watercolor bottles project and turn in for grading. We will view powerpoint on Greek vases, and begin the scratchboard project.
Complete continuous line contour project: apply Sharpie and watercolor wash.
Square 1 magnets have been sent home. If you wish to order items, orders are due by11/14.
The 6th graders are finishing their wire sculptures (based on continuous line contour drawing techniques) and will continue w/the Gatorade bottle portion of the project.
6TH graders will continue the continuous line contour drawing project started the previous week. We will take one of the drawings created during the first class, and make an aluminum wire sculpture of it to be mounted on black paper.
Square 1 project artwork is now due! We will begin our next project, dealing with continuous line contour drawing, immediately after.
Any Square 1 not completed in class must be treated as homework.
We will spend one more art class after this week on Square 1. The project will then be due for grading.
Continue Square 1 project. Students should be ready to transfer to white paper and begin application of media.
