Students will continue to work on printmaking, using images provided for them. Two-point perspective drawings should have been completed and turned in for grading.

Students in the Monday classes will continue working on their Hang Tag project. Thursday class will continue the Personal Chop project (printmaking).
Students are working on their auction paintings. They should have either brought in a color image from which to work, or should have chosen one from the art room. They are working on 12X12 canvases, and painting in acrylic.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT STUDENTS HAVE ALL THEIR PAINTING SUPPLIES EACH DAY – THAT INCLUDES PAINTBRUSHES, PALETTES, AND PAINT SHIRT!
Students will complete and turn in Greek vase etchings if they haven’t already done so. We wil begin our clay project.

Enriched 6th graders will begin their Impressionistic project, re-creating a famous artwork of their choice. The medium will be oil pastels on colored tag.
Sketchbook assignment: two shoes stacked on each other
Advanced students will continue/complete their Cubist acrylic paintings. They should be considering the subject of the auction painting, which will be the next project to be undertaken.
6th graders will continue/complete their scratchboard Greek vase project, and turn in for grading.
